Kleinmond is named after the small lagoon mounth at the sandy beach of Sandown Bay.  Kleinmond is easily accessed via the N2 from Cape Town (120km away) or via the scenic coastal Clarence Drive route from Gordon's Bay.  The population of the town numbers approximately 5 200 residents, swelling to plus - minus 10 000 during peak season.
